The thrill of fishing and his passion for sailing made Dave a happy man.
Southwestern Yacht Club was his home away from home.
He gave his time to the Junior Advisory Committee, Race Committee, the Junior Program and was a Life Member at Southwestern Yacht Club. He enjoyed racing in the Beer Can Series throughout the summers and often participated in the Performance Handicap Racing Fleet. He was a strong supporter of the SWYC Junior Program because it emphasized boating safety, sportsmanship, and life lessons for children.
